Ruperra Conservation Trust

Programme of Events

June - September 2026

Volunteering

Volunteer Sundays are normally held on the first and third Sundays of every month, as follows: June 7th and 21st, July 5th and 19th, August 2nd and 16th and September 6th and 20th.  They normally last from 10am to about 1pm.  All are welcome. Come when you can, and stay for as long as you want. Sue Price, our volunteer organiser (07977 599181) will meet you around 9.45am at the Car Park unless otherwise stated.  Finishing around 1pm.

Midweek volunteer days: We are somewhere in the woodland most Wednesdays with our volunteers if the weather is OK, so if you want to come along and help just ring Sue (see above) to check when and where to meet.

Forthcoming Events

Bat Walk.  Saturday  27th June from 8.45pm to 10.30 pm.

Join us for a wander up the main track as we head for the castle, where we will hopefully see the Greater Horseshoes emerging from their roost - an amazing experience! We provide bat detectors so you can hear their ultrasonic calls as well as see them. Bring a torch!  Meet in the Ruperra Car Park.

N.B. All bat walks are subject to cancellation if the weather's bad, so please check here before leaving home.

Bat Walk.  Saturday 29th August from 7.15pm to 10pm.

Details as above.  Numbers should be boosted by lots of juveniles at this time of year.
